It's time for the new release from Technique Junkies - 14 new stamps to celebrate Fall, Halloween and Nature . And of course, a few fun, snarky images too !! All new release stamps are 15% off through September 8. I know you will definitely find a few to add to your collection .

I'm doing an ATC coin swap with a friend so I decided to use the Bare Branches stamp for today . It's a large background stamp that I paper punched into 2 ATC coins - each 2 1/2 inches.

  • I stamped the Bare Branches image on Toned Tan Mixed-Media paper with Memento Espresso ink  and again on Toned Grey Mixed Media paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink .
  • I paper-punched the 2 1/2 inch circles for my ATC coins .
  • The  3-D stickers on each coin are from PaperHouse Productions .
  • These ATC coins are so fun and easy to make and a great way to swap with your creative friends !!

I hope you will take some time to see the projects from my teammates at their links below .

A Beautiful Silhouette

I think this is one of the most beautiful stamps from the March Technique Junkies Release .Flower and Wing Silhouette is one of 13 new stamp/stamp sets released this month . All are 15% off through March 8 with no code required . My code - TJ10Deb - will save you 10% on all other supplies .

I chose the Shades of Beauty paper pack from Paper House Productions to use with my card for today. It goes perfectly with the design of my card . The Flower and Wing Silhouette stamp is beautiful on its own and I chose not to color any part of it, but used the butterfly paper strip  to enhance the butterflies on the stamped image .

  • The Flower and Wing Silhouette stamp was stamped on a piece of patterned Shades of Beauty paper  with Memento Tuxedo Black ink  and adhered to a black card base.
  • 2 strips of patterned paper - from the same paper pack - were adhered to the card . The butterfly strip was adhered to the bottom and the black/gold patterned strip was adhered to the left side.
I hope that you love this card as much as I do . The entire Technique Junkies Design Team has created some amazing cards with this image - they can all be seen at the link to the stamp here .

Thank you for stopping by to see my card . I'll be posting more throughout the month . Check out all of the new release stamps at Technique Junkies .

Coffee & Cards with Deb & Celeste / September 2023

Celeste and I are back this month and FINALLY Fall has arrived.. I think that the crazy hot weather is over and we are in for some beautiful days ahead. NAS Oceana is having their airshow today, so Brian is watching from our front yard, where  the view is magnificent !! I'm finishing up this blogpost while the jets fly overhead .  Our theme this month is one of our favorites - Coffee . And Celeste found a fabulous inspiration photo ..

For my card today, I used the Photoplay I Love Fall stamp & die collection. These have been in my stash for awhile and I knew they would be perfect for this month's card ..

  • I stamped the girl, pumpkin and leaves on White Mixed Media paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The matching dies were used to cut out the stamped images.
  • I then colored the images with my COPICS.
  • On an orange card base, I adhered a piece of quilt design patterned paper. I have been hoarding this paper for years and years !!
  • I used a stitched rectangle die to create a background for my stamped images.
  • The girl and gold leaf were adhered to the word patterned paper and then the pumpkin, acorn and orange leaf were popped up with foam tabs .
  • I adhered the completed stamped panel to the quilted paper.
  • A Happy Together sticker from Paper House Productions was placed in the upper right corner of the stamped panel. I used this sticker because when it comes to coffee,  are ALWAYS happy together !!

Celeste is an expert at coffee cards so you won't want to miss hers !! You can check it out over at her blog Crafting Junky . This month I am drinking some Toffee Almond coffee from a fun cup .. it's the Heartbeat Cup from Cognitive Surplus.  I am currently monitoring patient's heart rhythms at the hospital I work at so I just had to have this when I saw it.  It also helped me study for the latest Rhythm Test I just had to take .. LOL

I hope that our cards have gotten you into the Fall mood and inspired you to make a few of your own. We appreciate you stopping by and look forward to seeing you next month . Until then, enjoy Fall leaves, pumpkin spice everything and most of all, Stay Creative.

Drop a House

As soon as I saw this stamp from the September Release at Technique Junkies,  I immediately wanted to try out an idea I have had for quite awhile .. The new  Drop a House stamp was perfect for the cover of a journal I wanted to create !! I paired it with an older Technique Junkies sentiment,  an older Technique Junkies set -  Wisdom of Oz - and some products from Paper House Productions.  New release stamps are 15% off through September 10 this month. And my code TJ10Deb  will get you 10% off all other items.

Don't Make Me Drop a House on You

  • I started off with a blank journal .
  • On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the Drop a House image and colored it with my COPICS .
  • I cut the completed stamped panel and matted it with a piece of red cardstock .
  • A piece of Wizard of Oz Borders paper  was adhered to the front cover of the journal.
  • The stamped panel was adhered to the cover of the journal .
  • Several red pearls were placed on the stamped image.
  • I stamped throughout the notebook with sentiments from the Wisdom of Oz set and the Yellow Brick Road stamp. I paired them with stickers and/or washi from Paper House Productions .

I plan on using this journal for crafty ideas, lists of cards sent/received etc.. I'm also planning on making a set of cards with the Wisdom of Oz set. Do you mainly make cards with your stamps ?? What other projects do you create ?? Thank you for stopping by to see my latest creation .. It is always appreciated ..

Coffee & Cards with Deb & Celeste / March 2023

March is here and finally some warmer temperatures. We have had some days where it is in the 30's in the morning and as high as 80 in the afternoon..  I'm hoping it soon levels out. What has been a constant is the pollen . But our winter was relatively mild, so we really can't complain.  For our theme this month, we are saying Hello to Spring.

I immediately knew that I wanted to use the Begin Anew stamp set designed by Angie Blom for Unity Stamp Company . The tulip designs and all of the sentiments were perfect for a card with a touch of Springtime.

  • I stamped the tulips and the girl image on pieces of Mixed-media paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Dew Drop ink.
  • I trimmed that paper with the tulips to fit an A2 card and stamped the sentiment with Memento Teal Zeal Dew Drop ink.
  • The girl was fussy-cut and then colored with my COPICS.
  • I popped the girl up on the left side of the tulips with foam tabs.
  • Several Paper House Puffy sticker butterflies were placed around the stamped images.
  • The completed stamped panel was adhered to a bright yellow card base.

I'm sure that Celeste has come up with a lovely card for her post this month. You can check out her creation over at her blog - Crafting Junky . My coffee this month is Snickers which is absolutely delicious. I'm not usually a fan of coffee with chocolate flavors but I love Snickers bars so had to give the coffee a try. I am drinking it from my latest favorite cup from an organization that is near and dear to my heart . You can read all about it at their website - and the founder, an amazing human being, Dan Fischer  /  check out the One Last Wave Project . My son, Carter Davison is on Board #3  and I will be forever grateful.

I hope that you are seeing some signs of Spring wherever you are . Please take care and I hope that you will be back next moth for our April posts. Thank you for taking the time to see what we have created for March.

Coffee & Cards with Deb & Celeste - November 2022

Celeste reminded me the other day that we started this blog collaboration in October of 2016 !! So we could actually be celebrating our 6th anniversary now !!  We both had been making cards for one of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops and didn't want to stop, so we decided to make cards every Sunday for the month of October.. But we still didn't want to quit, so we decided to continue it monthly. And here we are - 6 years later .. A blog collaboration AND a valued friendship .. Celeste chose a beautiful picture for our Inspiration Pic this month  -- we hope you like what we have created.

I have had the Autumn Vibes stamp set from Close To My Heart for awhile and have been wanting to ink it up for just the right card .  I thought of it as soon as I saw the Inspiration Pic..

  • I stamped the coffee cup and hay bale on a piece of scrap ledger paper & also stamped the hay bale on a piece of yellow patterned paper. The ink was Jet Black Archival .
  • I placed a strip of Autumn washi across the top of the stamped panel.
  • The Leggings saying was stamped with Orange Zest StazOn Ink and the Hay Ride with Memento Rhubarb Stalk Ink .
  • I fussy-cut the hay from the yellow paper and adhered it to the stamped panel.
  • The cup was colored with COPICS and a puffy sticker from Paper House Productions was adhered to the sleeve.
  • I matted the stamped panel on a piece of woodgrain patterned paper .
  • I adhered a piece of leaf patterned paper from the Autumn paper pad by Newton's Nook to a Kraft card base.
  • The completed stamped, matted panel was popped up on the card base with foam tabs.
  • The dried fruit in the picture was made by my guy, Brian. He used our food dehydrator and made dried apples, lemons, limes, pomegranates, apples and oranges. They are in a bowl on our table .

I'm certain that Celeste has made a fabulous card this month as always. You can find all of her creations at Crafting Junky . Take a look at her November creation for some inspiration of your own. My coffee this month is Pumpkin Pecan Praline from  Bones Coffee Company . And I'm using a cute paper to-go cup  that says - "My favorite season is Pumpkin Spice"..

Thank you for visiting Meticulosity  again as we head into the holiday season. I hope that you all found some Black Friday deals and were able to get in some crafty time with a good cup of coffee !! Please take care and we will see you in December ..

Coffee & Cards with Deb & Celeste / September 2022

As September begins, I am very much looking forward to cooler temperatures, pumpkin spice, colorful leaves and especially, Sweater Weather !! I'm so excited that we even made that our theme for this month !! Are you ready for Autumn weather to make its appearance ?? Celeste and I will help you get into the Autumn spirit with our creations..

I went in a slightly different direction with " Sweater Weather " ,,  I'm a big fan of the show "Schitt's Creek" and especially all of David's cool sweaters !! The 2 stamp sets I used are from Ink Road Stamps -Ew David & David's Sweaters .

  • I used my MISTI  to stamp the 4 sweaters on a piece of Mixed-Media paper with Gina K Jet Black Amalgam Ink .
  • 2 pieces of thin green-patterned washi from Paper House Productions was placed to make squares.
  • The sweaters were colored with my COPICS..
  • I adhered the finished panel to a burnt orange card base.
  • The sentiment was stamped on a piece of ledger paper with a Paris Dusk Memento  Dew Drop.
  • I adhered the sentiment to the card base with foam tabs.

Celeste will have her card over at her blog - Crafting Junky . I know she will do a fabulous job with this theme and can't wait to see it . I'm continuing with the Schitt's Creek theme and using a Rose Apothecary coffee cup . That was the name of the shop that was opened by David & Patrick on the show. Can you tell that I'm a fan ?!?!?!? And for my coffee I am drinking Cranberry Creme Brulee from the fabulous Bones Coffee . They have a new Nightmare Before Christmas collection that has some very unique flavors !!

Thanks for stopping by to see what Celeste and I are making AND drinking this month .. Maybe if we channel Sweater Weather, it will happen !! I really really want to have to wear a sweater ... Fingers crossed for cooler temps ...

Until next moth, Stay Creative

Coffee and Cards with Deb & Celeste / June 2022

Celeste and I are getting together again for our blog collaboration and having some coffee while we create . It was a cool 80 degrees here in Virginia Beach, which was 20 degrees cooler than yesterday !! Quick, where's my sweater ?!?!?! Our theme this month is perfect for summery weather, especially if you have a garden. Bees !! This was such a fun theme !!

I used a sweet stamp/die set for my cards today . Yes, I made 2 .. Same design but different papers !! I really loved how they turned out.  The Queen Bee set is from Close To My Heart . They have amazing deals right now during their Stamptacular Sale . My friend Chris Franco is a consultant and she knows how much I love this sale each year during the month of June !! My package of sale items just arrived yesterday and I can't wait to get inky with them all ... I hope that you like my cards for June.

  • I made mini-slimline cards this time, using a 6x6 paper pad - Basic Grey "Urban Prairie" .This collection was released in 2008 and I have been hoarding 2 of these pads ever since !! I used a green-patterned piece and a shaded yellow for my cards . Folded in half, they make a perfect mini-slimline.
  • The bee and wreath images were stamped with Gina K Jet Black Amalgam Ink on white cardstock ,then cut out with the matching dies .
  • I stamped the curvy line directly on each card base after placing my die-cut images down to see exactly where the line should be.
  • The bees and wreaths were colored with my COPICS.
  • I popped up the stamped die-cuts with foam tabs .
  • I paper-punched 2 crowns from bronze glittery paper and turned my sweet bees into Queen bees !!
  • A strip of  Honeybees Washi from Paper House Productions was placed along the bottom of each card base and also inside each card at the bottom. The set includes a thin black roll with gold dots and a hand-painted honeybees roll.

Don't you think these cards are just the cutest  ?!?! And that washi couldn't be more perfect !! I'm on the Creative Team for Paper House Productions as well as being a Brand Ambassador. You can always use my code  - Debra22 - for a 15% discount. I will earn a commission from any sales ( at no cost to you ). Always remember to do a bit of decorating on the inside of your cards too ... A strip of washi or a sticker or even a stamped design can be a nice surprise when your card is opened, along with whatever you write or stamp  inside ..

Please be sure to take a look at Celeste's bee card over at her blog - Crafting Junky .I know that she has created something to inspire all of us..

I'm having a wonderful cup of Brown Sugar Crumble coffee in a fun new cup. My dear friend , Michelle just returned from a cruise and I watered her outdoor plants while she was gone. She knew she was really trusting me with their lives, since I do NOT have a green thumb !! But all turned out well and on her return, she gave me a few gifts. One was this cute coffee cup . And appropriately enough, the other was a lovely pair of bee earrings !!

I hope that you are all staying cool and  getting creative. And of course, enjoying your favorite beverage .. I'm already thinking about what new stamp set I will use first from my recent purchase from Close To My Heart .. If you are feeling the need for a new stamp set or stamp/die set at fabulous prices, take a look at the Stamptacular Sale . You won't be sorry !!

Coffee & Cards with Deb & Celeste / March 2022

Not too sure how March got here already, but here we are with another post !! It seemed appropriate that the theme this time would be Spring . We have had some strange weather here in Virginia Beach - 80' one day and 30' the next . Sometimes we have both temperatures all in 1 day !! I am optimistic that  we are calming down for a lovely Spring .. I hope it is warming up where you are .

I took creative license with the Spring theme and used something completely different than the inspiration photo . I originally was going to use a stamp with birds/birdhouses but changed my mind and used Irish Blessing designed by Lindsey Ostrom for Impression Obsession ..  I loved the stamp so much that I actually made 2 cards ..

  • I stamped the images on white cardstock with Gina K Jet Black Amalgam Ink .
  • I die-cut one image with  a starburst die and also a slightly larger one from yellow cardstock.
  • A scalloped square  was die-cut  using green cardstock  .
  • I colored the images with my COPICS and some Kaiser Glitter pens .
  • I adhered the stamped/colored images to their matching diecuts.
  • The Field Study paperpad  from Paper House Productions was used for my background panels . Doesn't it look like pictures of an Irish countryside ?!?!?!
  • I used a white card base for the square image and brown for the sunburst .
  • I popped up the completed stamped panels using foam tabs.
Take a look at Celeste's blog - Crafting Junky - to see how she is getting in the Springtime mood !! We are so happy that you are back with us for another month of creativity ..  My coffee this time is from Bones Coffee Company . I am drinking Shark Bite coffee, which is flavored like Buttered Rum. And believe me, it is delicious !! I am drinking from my clearance 99 cent Hobby Lobby cup .

Be Your Own Kind of Wonderful

Thank you again for stopping by ..
Until next month, stay creative and drink some good coffee !!

Coffee & Cards with Deb & Celeste / July 2021

I have always loved Christmas so our theme for this month was easy - Christmas in July !! We are halfway to the holidays  Many crafty companies have sales this time of year to help you get ready  . And Celeste and I are here with our creative holiday inspiration to help you too ..

For my card this week, I made an ATC Coin with products from Paper House Productions . I wanted to show that you do not have to do lots of elaborate, stamping, cutting etc.  when making your holiday cards. I love this card and will probably create many of this layout for Christmas. In fact, I have already made 6 !! ATC coins are like Artist Trading Cards  ( which are rectangular ) and are a 2.5" circle that you decorate any way you'd like . People make them, swap them, use them on cards etc...

  • All supplies to decorate the ATC coin are from Paper House Productions .
  • I used a 2.5 " paper punch to create several circles with Strathmore Watercolor Paper.
  • Red Wood Double-sided paper was also used to make some 2.5" circles.
  • I adhered the wood paper to a watercolor paper circle.
  • Merry & Bright II 3D Stickers were placed on the wood paper to create a scene. I love that car sticker with the Christmas tree !! I also used the word JOY and a star.
  • A snowflake and snow dot from   Snowmen Puffy Stickers were placed on the ATC coin.
  • I adhered the completed ATC coin to a ready-made Christmas card base that I have been hoarding for years. It looks like layers of patterned papers, borders and ribbon !! I think it was from DCWV.

Celeste has also created some Christmas in July inspiration for you and you can see her card over at her blog - Crafting Junky . For my coffee this month, I thought I would have my favorite holiday coffee - Gingerbread .. And drink it from a Holiday Mail cup I bought on clearance last year.   All I need is a bit of Christmas music and I can make several more holiday cards !!

Thank you for stopping by for some  Christmas in July inspiration. Please take care and stay safe wherever you are .. We will see you next month !!
