It includes 5 snarky sentiment duos that just crack me up !! I chose to use the baking combo because it brought back lots of sweet memories of being in the kitchen with my mom as a child .. We made hundreds of dozens of chocolate chip cookies over the years - she always called them "Toll House" . And if you knew my mom, you know that she never ever met a recipe that she actually followed word for word . She always added something extra or changed it just a little - she called it "doctoring it up".. I think she would have absolutely loved this card that I made .. </span></span></p><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg95dOzHPW6r_auq4TZKyoAI__9ZPRywAzQfDrPQiBLzjKzrVuZ0pjb9Q38zUNalrLqNb-GG0S4hM8K8lguYgGYaxDtcFx1jjDhWv52tUCHa3MMfIUo5qUDZ5NWogxCtjQDSsvQYO8KPanVek84BP7kyhpEZE8oQvcIJE7sKrHSVp4UbxTtadL-D5du4gM/s1512/13EAF772-C6E4-4C94-BD87-57E05A93CCD8.JPEG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1512" data-original-width="1512" height="520" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg95dOzHPW6r_auq4TZKyoAI__9ZPRywAzQfDrPQiBLzjKzrVuZ0pjb9Q38zUNalrLqNb-GG0S4hM8K8lguYgGYaxDtcFx1jjDhWv52tUCHa3MMfIUo5qUDZ5NWogxCtjQDSsvQYO8KPanVek84BP7kyhpEZE8oQvcIJE7sKrHSVp4UbxTtadL-D5du4gM/w520-h520/13EAF772-C6E4-4C94-BD87-57E05A93CCD8.JPEG" width="520" /></a></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /><span>And the fun part of this card is that I cut out an extra oven door and adhered it to the oven so it opens .. So this stamp was a nice reminder of all those memories !! </span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span><br /></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjILtlIlVGMYnV1TxBwKstF0plrn76fkw73h-iQXbgGau8ypiZWTQahARQlHrRs4GvMIVKDadHfaLZmKdM4tjIQHXSxJYdi1TZcbTgpiur3Mux1pLXwFspe4h7T6N5tm2zJe8iNtaa0HR3i9H8YvwhxoznOzBkTMfiRXPcUuepk0OsmhhMlnSxk5aGp3GV0/s1413/F1D8005D-2F00-4E95-92D4-3080FD218B0E.JPEG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1413" data-original-width="1413" height="521" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjILtlIlVGMYnV1TxBwKstF0plrn76fkw73h-iQXbgGau8ypiZWTQahARQlHrRs4GvMIVKDadHfaLZmKdM4tjIQHXSxJYdi1TZcbTgpiur3Mux1pLXwFspe4h7T6N5tm2zJe8iNtaa0HR3i9H8YvwhxoznOzBkTMfiRXPcUuepk0OsmhhMlnSxk5aGp3GV0/w521-h521/F1D8005D-2F00-4E95-92D4-3080FD218B0E.JPEG" width="521" /></a></div><br /><span><br /></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><ul><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I stamped the <i>Jumping Fish Lithograph </i>on a piece of cream cardstock with blue and green inks .</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I stamped the fish image again and fussy-cut it.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">A piece of floral wood-grain paper was adhered to a gold metallic card base.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I adhered the stamped panel to a piece of dark green cardstock .</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">The completed panel was then adhered to the wood-grain paper.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I placed the fussy-cut fish on top of the stamped panel using a <i>Wobble Spring .</i></span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">A <i>Tim Holtz Small Talk sticker </i>was placed on the lower right side of the card .</span></li></ul><div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihu0052-66rzDfzUQPNdDolDKGDCgSre6oMBhRpH5avrq6zpwEIpJjtCVc_VKP12tQO6CgsajzfIS07osV5izZyyuFCQm4oaL9GXV2nRVkAb1Xirfi6zZUTKWufL9UYS4L6M8jblIq5CPJWOV6_xMRYeumKSoUlpKInhhYJ2lPlG-Nq_qoYFjInE4oCec3/s2048/428632449_10161203840351489_907667277104740835_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2035" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihu0052-66rzDfzUQPNdDolDKGDCgSre6oMBhRpH5avrq6zpwEIpJjtCVc_VKP12tQO6CgsajzfIS07osV5izZyyuFCQm4oaL9GXV2nRVkAb1Xirfi6zZUTKWufL9UYS4L6M8jblIq5CPJWOV6_xMRYeumKSoUlpKInhhYJ2lPlG-Nq_qoYFjInE4oCec3/s320/428632449_10161203840351489_907667277104740835_n.jpg" width="318" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /><span style="font-size: medium;">You can check out all the March Release stamps over at <a href="https://techniquejunkies.com/march-2024-new-stamp-release/" target="_blank">Technique Junkies</a> . I had one brother who was 6 years older than me. My mother had 9 brothers and sisters, so there were lots of cousins who lived nearby that I saw quite often. My best friend was from a large Italian family too - she had 9 younger</span><span style="text-align: justify;"> brothers and sisters. But I always wished for a sister of my own ; had a picture in my head of a wonderful relationship with someone who just would get me, love me and my quirky side no matter what .. When I saw this </span><a href="http://techniquejunkies.com/sister-therapy/" style="text-align: justify;" target="_blank">Sister Therapy</a><span style="text-align: justify;"> stamp from the latest </span><i style="text-align: justify;">Technique Junkies Release, </i><span style="text-align: justify;">it took me back to my childhood when I wanted to have a sister so very badly !! And I could also hear my mom's voice telling me - "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it ." LOL I made this card for my friend Xenia to send to her sister in New York . I asked her their favorite colors ( black and gray !!! ) . And then I also used my favorite color - <span style="color: red;">RED </span>. I hope they both like it as much as I enjoyed making it.</span></span></p><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: red;"><br /></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: red;"><br /></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitx26uyokCTBbyLFE_jB7CmGXOBLXuXdM9b43tdBfFpNXOIGT-9InMCRBzcJL-QaP21OyXNskN5iEpj0rVMSvdaaFY28hXnOPc7XwaIs_Nq_cOq-45tMAv4Q5FLP1qqsXOzHKHgeXHKot6y9-h3-2X9ODZO8FA__0HVGGEo1fn3Z2MsoZzwaMchw7pt4M/s1512/285F41F4-8B23-4BFD-83D2-20FAE93E662E.JPEG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1512" data-original-width="1512" height="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitx26uyokCTBbyLFE_jB7CmGXOBLXuXdM9b43tdBfFpNXOIGT-9InMCRBzcJL-QaP21OyXNskN5iEpj0rVMSvdaaFY28hXnOPc7XwaIs_Nq_cOq-45tMAv4Q5FLP1qqsXOzHKHgeXHKot6y9-h3-2X9ODZO8FA__0HVGGEo1fn3Z2MsoZzwaMchw7pt4M/w564-h564/285F41F4-8B23-4BFD-83D2-20FAE93E662E.JPEG" width="564" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><ul><li>I stamped the <i>Sister Therapy </i>image with 3 colors of <i>Memento ink - Black Tuxedo, Gray Flannel and Lady Bug - </i>on <i>white Mixed-Media paper.</i></li><li>I cut a piece of red patterned paper to fit an A2 card and adhered it to a pink card base.</li><li>The <i>Sister Therapy image </i>was die-cut with a <i>Rectangle Swirl die.</i></li><li>I cut a strip of black patterned paper to fit lengthwise down the red paper and adhered it to the left side of the card.</li><li>The <i>Sisters image </i>was popped up on the card base with <i>foam tabs.</i></li><li>Small red pearls were placed on the strip of black paper.</li></ul><div><br /></div><div>Don't forget that all of the new <a href="http://techniquejunkies.com/february-2024-new-stamp-release/" target="_blank">February Release</a> stamps are 15% off through February 8. I have been attending a Grief Support Group at a local church ever since my 46 year old son was killed in a DUI crash 12-23-21 . I feel like many in the group are now a part of my family . Even though it is held at a church , it is not a religious group. Everyone is welcome no matter your belief system. We share our stories, books that have helped us, and ways to keep ourselves sane in the midst of tragedy. I made these to share with anyone in the group who would like one. I will also be hanging one on our bulletin board with the photos of our loved ones. </span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1Dy3Nc3PW6TB8lV_ZNhScfnU7DEvW6TSndthxhj1-l8R1oZugGuOUsmr2RJpQY0-TKsNWXUQxmS22Ba9n97r2f1IGb_o0WtIcA9hLAbJtA8GizBassNOReBxBOsEAZkOrTG3YtLY6aPb677LOjiwqc_LEcO44suZodOQZJNclG1w1SP3ZlrPP3jS7YLyc/s1488/27E66E8B-A1E4-4F82-9797-D94C7C5EE668.JPEG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1488" data-original-width="1488" height="484" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1Dy3Nc3PW6TB8lV_ZNhScfnU7DEvW6TSndthxhj1-l8R1oZugGuOUsmr2RJpQY0-TKsNWXUQxmS22Ba9n97r2f1IGb_o0WtIcA9hLAbJtA8GizBassNOReBxBOsEAZkOrTG3YtLY6aPb677LOjiwqc_LEcO44suZodOQZJNclG1w1SP3ZlrPP3jS7YLyc/w484-h484/27E66E8B-A1E4-4F82-9797-D94C7C5EE668.JPEG" width="484" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhq_MmyTGYD6_qKto3iq100XZdCwa9AcUXZWCYYozA00dZCL10IqeTeu3Owx33h_3tCE2uUqSGdCLaVfZsD6tqaJseSl5S4LZmyF0SnjaqW4fluQYGh_k_h0B0NL9IoS7nSrx93KMd8h_vh64XGjXmdTqp4x5L8fMph1Mtg3AJr0XjQ3Vrv8N5YpIsF6nfw/s1482/F2B436DE-7490-4892-8BF6-1F38BC2F1666.JPEG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1482" data-original-width="1482" height="478" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhq_MmyTGYD6_qKto3iq100XZdCwa9AcUXZWCYYozA00dZCL10IqeTeu3Owx33h_3tCE2uUqSGdCLaVfZsD6tqaJseSl5S4LZmyF0SnjaqW4fluQYGh_k_h0B0NL9IoS7nSrx93KMd8h_vh64XGjXmdTqp4x5L8fMph1Mtg3AJr0XjQ3Vrv8N5YpIsF6nfw/w478-h478/F2B436DE-7490-4892-8BF6-1F38BC2F1666.JPEG" width="478" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQRy464MhpwUfzyACjZM5D68CfQRR0uwkCR2WeM5sO0IvjVmHrfioozwt-_pvnYiOXxpN_x9D9nwOVV5C-kFvHGAj_3qcKmWv0Yn4ZBIi-MUxXlsmwRzA7W_4AFWZjtny51mY8SLoxnSo_GBeTWU3bllKcYaJDcSs5229rtWqNLbPQoH7ZKBnMwnJlPYEX/s868/IMG_5008%20(1).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="597" data-original-width="868" height="245" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQRy464MhpwUfzyACjZM5D68CfQRR0uwkCR2WeM5sO0IvjVmHrfioozwt-_pvnYiOXxpN_x9D9nwOVV5C-kFvHGAj_3qcKmWv0Yn4ZBIi-MUxXlsmwRzA7W_4AFWZjtny51mY8SLoxnSo_GBeTWU3bllKcYaJDcSs5229rtWqNLbPQoH7ZKBnMwnJlPYEX/w357-h245/IMG_5008%20(1).jpg" width="357" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Carter Nicholas Davison</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;"><br /></span></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><ul><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I stamped the <a href="https://techniquejunkies.com/pray-on-it/" target="_blank">Pray On It</a> image with <i>Tuxedo Black Memento ink </i>on various scraps of paper - patterned and cardstock .</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">The stamped image is 1.7" x 3.6" - I trimmed the images, leaving a small margin around the saying.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I adhered the stamped panels to scraps of patterned paper.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">The completed panela were adhered to coordinating colors of cardstock.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;"> I colored PRAY with my <i>COPICS.</i></span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">The backs of the cards have ledger paper for notes.</span></li></ul><div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-size: medium;">This stamp is just one of the <a href="https://techniquejunkies.com/january-2024-stamp-release/" target="_blank">January Release Stamps</a> from <i>Technique Junkies. </i> As always, you can use my code - TJ10Deb - for a 10% discount. It's a nice pick-me-up at work in the afternoon. I bought 15 the last time I was there - Maple Donut, Vanilla and Mocha. And yes, it's about 30 degrees here and I'm drinking ice coffee !! I'm very happy with it and hope you are too ..</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7Km9OFlmdJzTl1oPeOCLVEOmFcDm_u6GhhcoHc7Wu_2tCOhR4_jQW9sm7bRK4XS3AfHdQdLHvbrrvNCnbxLWJ0HADdCH9KxCLiBY3ABKc-k7_756pDZOc_vL0GOL6rySJydr2Zf_30IwfPk4cAVpaGRRaawNiTiyVz5rJmslcVNZB1emg53b5g2cZkLAg/s1512/5D194295-0412-405A-BE6C-1CBADA02237D.JPEG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1512" data-original-width="1512" height="533" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7Km9OFlmdJzTl1oPeOCLVEOmFcDm_u6GhhcoHc7Wu_2tCOhR4_jQW9sm7bRK4XS3AfHdQdLHvbrrvNCnbxLWJ0HADdCH9KxCLiBY3ABKc-k7_756pDZOc_vL0GOL6rySJydr2Zf_30IwfPk4cAVpaGRRaawNiTiyVz5rJmslcVNZB1emg53b5g2cZkLAg/w533-h533/5D194295-0412-405A-BE6C-1CBADA02237D.JPEG" width="533" /></a></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I stamped the <i>Vintage Script Collage </i>with <i>Tuxedo Black Memento ink </i>on white Mixed-Media paper.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I trimmed the image then cut it into quarters.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">All of the 4 quarters were colored with my <i>COPICS .</i></span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">I re-arranged the quarters and adhered them on a piece of red cardstock, leaving space between each quarter.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">A floral postage stamp was placed on the lower left image . </span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">A piece of cursive patterned paper was adhered to a white card base.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">The completed, matted stamped panel was adhered to the cursive paper.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: medium;">A sentiment was placed in the lower right corner of the card.</span></li></ul><div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-size: medium;">All of the <i>Technique Junkies </i>Design Team members have created projects for this release.
