He Made It / She Made It - October 2025

I have had so much fun making cards with the Freshly Boo'd Collection by Mandy Ford Art & Illustration . So much fun that I challenged Michael Trent to another "He Made It / She Made It" post using Mandy Ford supplies !! I really can't wait to see what he comes up with .

For these cards and tags, I printed  papers and different elements ( cups, borders, stars, tags, etc. ) from the Freshly Boo'd collection . There are 5 patterned papers and 4 sheets of printable elements included . I don't have a list of step-by-step instructions  because these cards are so quick and easy !! Print the papers and elements. Cut some elements out,  adhere the patterned paper to card bases and play !!!

My last card was made with a Mandy Ford free printable . The ghostly pics look like old Polaroids. I printed some of the pics and added some felt pumpkin stickers. I then adhered the pics to card bases. There are 14 different ghost images in that freebie collection  . There are many other freebies available at Mandy Ford Art & Illustration . She also has an Etsy shop .

Thank you for stopping by .

Until next time, stay creative ..

World Card Making Day / October 2025

I'm excited to be celebrating World Card Making Day with a fabulous Etsy shop - KCS Designs . I recently joined their Design Team and wanted to show you some of their amazing digital products. They are having a 50% off sale through 10/5, so be sure to check out them out.

For my first cards, I just had to use their Book Haven Journal papers. You all know by now that 2 of my loves are books and coffee. These papers are so beautiful and I had fun creating these cards .

  • I printed the Fall Book Haven image to fit on my A2 card bases.
  • I adhered the images to a white card base and a brown card base.
  • Rhinestones were adhered to the images.
  • The sentiment is from the Dare 2B Artzy "Cozy Holidays" stamp set .
  • I used Ranger Espresso ink for the sentiment and die cut it with a Stampendous die .
  • The sentiment was popped up at the bottom of the card with foam tabs

My next cards were created using the Vintage Newspaper Floral Journal papers. This paper prints so beautifully that I hated to even cover any of it up!! But the gorgeous design shows through in my background on these cards .

  • I printed 2 designs from the Vintage Newspaper Floral papers and adhered them to the front of 2 white card bases.
  • The central image  on each card was cut from a 12x12 piece of paper from the Echo Park Paper Co . "Happy Crafting " collection . I used foam tabs for added dimension .
  • I adhered stickers from the same collection to the top and bottom of both cards .
Thank you so much for stopping by to see what I've created to celebrate one of my favorite days .. And now that I am retired, I can celebrate by making cards any time I want !! Shout out to Kim Sheen of KCS Designs for inviting me to be a part of the team . Be sure to check out the cards made by the other Design Team members. Links are below.

Crafty Elves' Countdown to Christmas / September 2025

Lisa, Michael and I are bringing you our holiday cards as we continue to count down to Christmas !! I had every intention of making my card early in the month and somehow it was time to write up my post and the card wasn't even stated. I really didn't even have  a card idea in my head except maybe for a stamp set to use. But after working a 12 hour shift today, I decided to make it easy on myself and use some fabulous Pink Fresh Studio supplies  I had in my stash !!! I actually got them at one of their clearance sales a few years ago .

All of my supplies are from the Pink Fresh "Holiday Dreams" collection . The paper, stickers, ephemera etc.. are absolutely beautiful

  •  I adhered a piece of green plaid paper to a white card base.
  • The red scalloped border at the top of the card was a strip from another piece of paper in the Holiday Dreams collection .
  • I adhered 4 of the Wood Accent Stickers below the border .
  • A Puffy Sticker sentiment was placed near the bottom of the card .

Easy Peasy !! How quick this card came together and I could have made many more with all of the elements . In fact, I probably will next week . Tuesday, Sept. 30 is my last shift at the hospital . I am retiring after 38 years there .My creative time will be on my own schedule !!

Take a look at what Michael abd Lisa created over at their blogs -

It's hard to believe that Christmas is only 3 short months away . Have you started on your holiday cards ?? I love having a stash all ready to go when the season rolls around.  Thank you for stopping by . We hope we inspired you with our creations this month and we will see you again in October !!
