2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I am a coffee gal with no coffee maker !! My Keurig no longer works -- probably from over-use.. Time for a new one.. So lately I have been drinking more tea.. But I knew I had to make a Coffee card for this Blog Hop. My week has been busy as the Growing in Unity Girl with Unity Stamp Company and one of my projects was a coffee card.. For today's Blog Hop card, I again used Faber-Castell Whipped Spackle and some Donna Salazar Fairy Dust "Spun Sugar" Glitter on a Prima Mixed-Media tag.. The stencil is Wall Flowers by Claudine Hellmuth Studio.

I stamped  Kimmie Girl and fussy-cut her .. I still haven't bought one of those fancy machines that cuts out stamped images and will hold off as long as I can.. I actually enjoy fussy-cutting !! I then paper-pieced her jeans and the heart on her shirt.. She was colored with Faber-Castell PITT Artist pens and Light Flesh Big Brush Pen ( my go-to pen for flesh-tone ). I added some Scotch washi tape in Grass to the bottom of the tag and at the top I used some Stampin' Up Quilted ribbon in Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler.. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company KOM 6/14.. I hope you like my tag for the Hop..

Thanks to Amy for hosting again and to all 57 Super Sponsors for their support AND prizes !! I'll be offering blog candy to someone who comments on this post and tells me their favorite coffee maker / machine.. Hope to be able to post again but at least wanted to get one finished over the weekend..

Happy Coffee-Blog Hopping

  5. I love your tag! There are so many details!
    I think I have this stamp...somewhere.
Wow-no coffee maker! That would spell disaster in my house!
My coffee maker is a Cuisinart with the bean grinder inside, so I get fresh ground coffee every time. Delicious!!! You can run it without the grinder if you don't have whole bean coffee. It has a stainless steel carafe so I can't break it :-)

  6. Awww...Sorry your Keurig went Kaput. My first one (I got as a gift) did too and I called them and they sent me a new one! Did you see my Keurig incident yesterday? If not, it's on my blog. Love the sparkly elements on your card. That Unity Chick is perfect! :)

  8. Your sparkly card is amazing! Our coffee maker is a plain Mr. Coffee. What makes our coffee so great is that each pot is fresh ground.

  13. Such a cute image - love the sparkly spackle in the background! Sorry you lost your Keurig! Unfortunately, I have no advice on a coffee maker. Although I love coffee, I can no longer drink it so I switched to herbal tea. Not as much fun as coffee but still enjoyable!

My favorite coffee maker is Starbucks! I am not a coffee drinker, but I do love an occasional mocha! Hubby drinks a ton of coffee and he uses his Mr. Coffee! He grinds the beans in a Cuisinart grinder.
