I Have YOU ....... and coffee
I am very blessed to have a wide circle of friends. I meet a friend almost every Saturday for coffee -- and therapy, we both say..There is nothing better than some good friend time along with a wonderful cup of coffee.. This stamp by Hampton Art always makes me smile..I used a 4x6 journaling notecard from Prima Marketing 's "Coffee Break" collection, as the background and matted the saying. A few rhinestones and a handwritten sentiment finished the card. The doily border is by Stampin' Up. I kept seeing this stamp in random aisles at local craft stores..Never in the stamping department. It was as if it was following me, wanting me to buy it.. This happened for about 6 months and my willpower held up.. Then one day I found it in a Clearance Bin for $2... Karma !! It stays on my desk and I use it alot..

Delight In The Little Things
It's no secret that I absolutely LOVE Prima Marketing supplies. And this amazing stamp of an adorable tea cup just shouted "Spring" to me !! This stamp is Delight in The Little Things and I had such fun coloring and paper-piecing it !! I used Distress Markers and Akashiya SAI watercolor brush pens . The vibrant blue background is one of the SAI pens and I absolutely love them !! I am still perfecting my coloring techniques and have really fallen in love with these !! The paper for the background is also Prima. It is from their Romance Novel collection. DCWV Inc. made the pearls I used at the bottom. The decorative ribbon I used at the top was a fabulous find at Marshalls during the holidays. It was handcrafted in India and I got 10 yards for $6. I used it because it reminded me of snow and even though this is a Spring Hop, there is snow on the ground in much of the country.. I think it works perfectly ! And FYI, that woodgrain backgound paper is by Webster'sPages.
Please remember to comment on my posts for a chance to win a Spring-filled prize from me.. I hope you enjoy this card as much I do. Don't tell anyone, but I think this one is my favorite !!

I will be posting several starting today until it ends on March 6.. There will be some great prizes from amazing sponsors throughout the Hop... I will also be choosing someone to win some Spring supplies from those who comment on my posts during the Hop..
For my first card, I finally inked up a stamp that I have had for awhile. I was planning on using it for the Holiday Hop but computer issues got in the way. It is "Perk Me Up Peeps" by Stampingbella. You can't help but feel good when you see these 2 cuties !! I also used a bit of Basic Grey paper and some Robin's Nest Dew Drops in Orchid and Poinsettia.. Welcome to our anticipation of Spring !!
